Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your state of residence and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to place an order. You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without authorization.

2. Products and Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, dimensions, materials, colors, availability, specifications, and images accurately. Screen settings, lighting, photography, manufacturing updates, and natural material variations may affect appearance.

Natural stone, alabaster, crystal, glass, and hand-applied finishes may vary in veining, tone, texture, pattern, translucency, and color. These natural variations are part of the material’s character and are not necessarily defects.

Review dimensions, materials, care instructions, voltage, bulb requirements, dimmer compatibility, mounting requirements, access routes, and other details before ordering. Unless expressly stated otherwise, accessories and decorative items shown in lifestyle images are not included.

3. Installation, Electrical Safety and Product Use

Electrical fixtures should be installed, connected, inspected, and serviced by a qualified electrician or other professional as required by applicable law and local electrical codes. Disconnect power at the circuit before installation or service.

You are responsible for confirming that the fixture, voltage, bulbs, dimmers, junction box, mounting surface, wiring, and intended location are suitable and compatible. Follow the product instructions and do not modify a fixture or use components outside the stated specifications.

Use outdoor and bathroom lighting only in locations consistent with the product’s stated dry, damp, or wet-location rating. Improper installation, unauthorized modification, incompatible components, or use outside stated ratings may create a safety risk and may not constitute a product defect.

Installation services are not included unless expressly stated. If you are uncertain about installation, compatibility, or location suitability, consult a qualified professional before installing the product.

4. Prices, Taxes and Payment

Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated and may change without notice. Applicable taxes and shipping charges, if any, are displayed during checkout.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information. Payment is subject to authorization by the applicable payment provider. Our Payment Methods page is incorporated into these Terms.

5. Promotions

Promotions, discount codes, gifts, and special offers may be subject to separate terms, expiration dates, product exclusions, minimum purchase amounts, or usage limits. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined, applied retroactively, exchanged for cash, or used for excluded items.

6. Order Acceptance

An order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order; it does not necessarily mean that we accepted it. We may verify payment, inventory, shipping information, and order details before acceptance.

We may refuse, limit, or cancel an order for reasons including suspected fraud, unauthorized or invalid payment, inventory unavailability, pricing or description errors, shipping restrictions, apparent resale activity, or violation of these Terms. If we cancel after collecting payment, we will refund the canceled amount to the original payment method.

7. Shipping and Delivery

We ship only to eligible street addresses within the 48 contiguous United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, APO/FPO/DPO military addresses, or mail-forwarding addresses a carrier cannot service.

Most orders require up to 2 business days for processing, followed by approximately 3–14 business days in transit. Standard shipping is free. Expedited shipping is $9.99 when available, with the applicable estimate displayed at checkout. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by carriers, weather, inventory, address issues, peak periods, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

8. Order Changes and Cancellations

Before an eligible order ships, you may request cancellation, a product change, or an address change at no charge by emailing service@lumeaspaces.com. The request is effective only after we confirm it by email.

After shipment, products and delivery addresses cannot be changed. Preorder, clearance, and customized items cannot be canceled, except for a confirmed quality or fulfillment issue or where required by law.

9. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Eligible products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days after delivery. Customers are responsible for return shipping for preference-based returns. Lumea Spaces covers authorized return, exchange, replacement, or related shipping for confirmed damaged, defective, or incorrect items.

Preorder, clearance, final-sale, customized, personalized, and made-to-order items are not eligible for cancellation, return, or exchange except for a confirmed quality or fulfillment issue or where required by law.

Return authorization is required. Do not send merchandise to our company address. Our Returns & Refunds Policy is incorporated into these Terms and controls the return process.

10. Website Content and Intellectual Property

The Services and their content, including text, graphics, logos, product names, photographs, video, layout, software, and design elements, are owned by or licensed to Lumea Spaces and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the Services for personal, noncommercial shopping purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, scrape, reverse engineer, sell, license, or commercially exploit the Services or their content without written permission, except where applicable law permits otherwise.

11. Reviews, Feedback and Submissions

If you submit a review, photograph, video, comment, suggestion, or other content, you represent that you have the right to provide it and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights.

You grant Lumea Spaces a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the Services, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy. We may remove unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate submissions.

12. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services to:

• Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right;
• Commit fraud or provide false information;
• Transmit malware or interfere with security or operation;
• Access accounts, systems, or data without authorization;
• Collect information about others unlawfully;
• Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Services without permission; or
• Resell products or exploit the Services for an unauthorized commercial purpose.

13. Third-Party Services and Privacy

The Services may rely on or link to third-party platforms, payment providers, carriers, applications, or websites. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices except to the extent required by law.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information and is incorporated into these Terms.

14. Disclaimers and Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except for any warranty expressly stated on the applicable product page or any right that cannot legally be excluded, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits an implied warranty, statutory guarantee, or consumer right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumea Spaces and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, arising from or related to the Services or an order.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a product or order will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected product or order. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Lumea Spaces harmless from third-party claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created a security risk, or engaged in unlawful or abusive conduct. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory consumer-protection laws of your state of residence may also apply.

19. Severability, Waiver and Entire Agreement

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and policies incorporated by reference constitute the entire agreement between you and Lumea Spaces concerning the Services and replace prior communications on the same subject.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
